Horizon Aluminium Boats Pty Ltd: are warranted for twenty four (24) calendar months after the boat has been sold by our dealer for the first time. Our liability for boats manufactured by Horizon Aluminium Boats is limited to making good any defects by repairing the same or at our option by replacement, provided that:

Special Provisions

• The boat must be maintained and used in accordance with the Boat Capacity Plate and necessary Maintenance Directions attached to the boat.

• The Boat has not been damaged by misuse, accident, neglect or used for competitive purposes.

• The Boat must not have been modified, altered or operated outside the limits of the design specifications.

• Horizon Aluminium Boats Pty Ltd shall not be liable for consequential loss of any kind arising out of the supply or operation of the boats.

• The warranty does not cover any consequential expenses beyond the warranty repair of the boat itself, e.g. Freighting.

• Paint is warranted against defective paint or application, NOT against the normal effect of wear and tear, oxidisation, fuel or solvents damage.

• Horizon will NOT warrant boats, which have been improperly trailed.

e.g. wobble rollers and off road use.

• Fitting of wedges and anti-ventilation plates foils could void the warranty.

• Work agreed to be repaired by Horizon will be done ex factory, and freighting cost to and from the factory will be the purchaser's responsibility NOT Horizon Aluminium Boats. The warranty does not cover items replaced during normal service and maintenance operations and which are subject to wear. These arrangements apply regardless of any change in ownership during the period covered and are not intended to affect the owners rights under the law of any State or the Trade Practices Act.

• The above warranty is in lieu of any and all warranties expressed or implied, conferred by statute or otherwise and is intended to cover all warranties given by the company on the boat or any part thereof. Any such warranties under the Sale Of Goods Act and Trade Practices Act as are inconsistent with the terms of this warranty are expressly negated.

Commercial Use

As possible commercial applications and the conditions of usage vary so much, and as success depends on the capability of the user, HORIZON ALUMINIUM BOATS cannot warrant boats used commercially (expect at our total discretion) nor warrant HORIZON ALUMINIUM BOATS are suitable for any particular commercial application . In this regards the purchaser must satisfy them self.

Due to Horizon Boats commitment to continually improve our products, we reserve the right to modify or change without notice, any design, materials, specifications, equipment and/or accessories. All measurements and weights quoted are approximate and subject to variation and change, all colours depicted are as close as the reproduction process allows.

Horizon Trailers

Horizon Trailers are covered for a period of 12 calendar months under special Trailers Pty Ltd warranty.

Special Trailers Pty Ltd warrants that subject to the exclusion listed below, each new boat trailer manufactured by Special Trailers Pty Ltd to be free of defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Special Trailers Pty Ltd shall repair or replace, without charge any product or part that Special Trailers manufactures found to be defective because of imperfect workmanship or materials within a reasonable time after the trailer is returned to an authorised Special Trailers Pty Ltd distributor.

Exclusions

Wheel bearings, seals and hydraulic braking equipment are limited to a six-month warranty from date of purchase.

Provisions of this warranty shall not apply to a product which is found to have been modified or altered in any way, nor shall the warranty to and defect or malfunction which was caused by collision damage, excessive speed or unmade roads or failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. The warranty will not cover damage caused by overloading the trailer, exceeding the recommended ball weight beyond stated percentage ratio or towing with extra hard or modified rear suspension on four well drive and truck type vehicles.

This warranty does not cover parts or equipment not manufactured by Special Trailers Pty Ltd as these items are warranted by their manufactures.

Special Trailers Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any transportation charges or incidental or consequential damages fro breach of this or any other warranty expressed or implied.
